Not only does she do an amazing job on my hair every single time, but she’s also constantly offering helpful tips on how to care for my hair between visits. When I moved to the area, I chose Inizio Salon strictly based on the high google reviews, and by a lovely stroke of luck found myself with Alyssa. I've been a loyal customer for about 2 years now and have always been extremely happy with my color (hi-lites or low-lites or whatever I need) and cut. Not only is she a great stylist, but she has an amazing personality! Not only does my hair turn out wonderfully, but It's a pleasure to sit with her to chat and laugh. The salon is a pleasure to visit: All the stylists are very welcoming, and you immediately feel the warm, friendly vibe. Highly recommend!!

TLDR: Loved my experience here and would absolutely recommend anyone with natural type 4 hair see Chevelle. I booked a silk press and cut with Chevelle for last Saturday. The young woman at the front desk was very friendly and I think I waited less than 1 minute for Chevelle to come out and welcome me. They took my coat, had me get settled in the chair and she LISTENED TO ME about what my hair issues are and what I was hoping for. Let me break down my issues so anyone experiencing the same can know what to expect if you have 4B/4C natural curls: hormonal changes to hair causing dry, brittleness, split ends, shedding, breakage, and unable to retain moisture even after deep conditioning. I went with a silk press and cut instead of a curly cut because I like to straighten my hair 4-5 times a year. I asked for a fluffier silk press for volume. I received the best shampoo and steam hydration treatment from Soraya (the massage chairs are amazing). While I was trying to retain as much length as possible, I deferred to Chevelle's experience on how much to cut off because I did not want the split ends/breakage to continue. She did such an amazing job I ended up with an adorable bob just at my shoulders with layers instead of a broken mess that was just past shoulder length. I could not get over how much shine and movement I had. I've lived with it for a couple days now and I haven't had any shedding or breakage.my hair is still shiny and bouncy. I cannot thank her enough. I've already scheduled a Wash & Go treatment with her for March so I can learn how to do a proper wash & go and retain the moisture and shine. So excited!

I used to go to a simple Hair Cuttery type salon, but after a few bad experiences that made me nervous to go back, I decided to try a higher-end experience. After researching a lot to find a well-rated salon that offered curly cuts that weren't overpriced, I decided to book with Chevelle at Inizio Hair. From the moment I arrived, Chevelle made me feel like I was in great hands. She listened carefully to me as I described what I wanted--and knocked it out of the park! We started with a shampoo & conditioner, a short head massage, then did a steam treatment to rehydrate my curls. Chevelle got rid of my split ends and added some subtle layers so my curls got a lot more body. She ended with a mouse-type treatment that locked in moisture while still leaving my curls soft to the touch. I could not stop smiling. I didn't know my hair could look like this! After years of searching, I have finally found my go-to hair stylist. Thank you Chevelle!
